What platform do I use to participate in the live workshop?

What platform do I use to participate in the live workshop? We use Airmeet.com (http://Airmeet.com) for our live workshops. When joining a live workshop, please join via a computer (laptop or desktop) and with the Chrome Browser. This will ensure you have the best possible experience. If you would like to join with a tablets/iPad then please search for and install the AirMeet App: Apple and Android

How do I access the live workshop?

The link to a live workshop is included inside the upcoming workshop lesson. We also send you an email about 1 week before the live event, and also 1 hour before the live event - this is sent from [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) or [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]). If you cannot find it inside your email inbox, then please check your spam / promotions folder. Instructions will be given in the email.

How do I pay for a workshop/course?

You can pay with Credit Card or PayPal.

Is the workshop in United States Dollars USD? If so, how will it be converted?

All our workshop are priced in USD and will be converted to your countries currency automatically by your bank / credit card / PayPal once you check out.

I can't access my workshop that I bought with the link provided, what do I do?

If you have bought a workshop, but cannot access the workshop, you may need to Refresh your browser, clear cache (https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/how-to-clear-browser-cache/) and retry. If it still does not work you can view it under your profile under your courses. Alternatively you can mail us on https://support.ceramic.school/submit_ticket to assist.

Is The Ceramics MBA included in the monthly membership?

Unfortunately, no it is not, as it requires us to spend lots of time with individual students. Feel free to email us on https://support.ceramic.school/submit_ticket for more information on The Ceramics MBA.

Can I replay workshops that I have bought?

If you have bought an indiviual workshop you can access it anytime and will be loaded for a lifetime. The monthly members can access the workshops as long as they are still a member. You can find the courses you currently have access to by logging in (https://ceramic.school/login/) and then looking in your profile here (https://ceramic.school/members/me/courses/).

What browser is recommended for viewing the workshops?

We recommend using a laptop or desktop, and we recommend using the Google Chrome (https://www.google.com/chrome/) browser for the best experience.

I have forgotten my password, how do I retrieve it?

You can reset your password from the login page (https://ceramic.school/login/) which will then send you an email to reset your password from either [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) or [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]). I did not receive an email on how to access the live workshop I purchased, what do I?

All upcoming live workshops will have the live lesson link inside the workshop lesson. You can access your workshop lessons by looking under your "Profile", under "My Courses", choosing the course you would like to see and clicking on the "Start Workshop" button. We also send you an email with the live lesson link about 1 week before the workshop, and also 1 hour before the workshop. I have created a profile, but can not access it. What do I need to do?

When you create a profile, you should have received an email from us with a link to your profile from [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) or [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]). If you cannot find the email in your inbox, please check you spam/promotions folder as well. If you have not received anything please pop us a mail at https://support.ceramic.school/submit_ticket and we will send you a reset link to your profile.

Does my country's tax rate effect the checkout price of a workshop or my membership?

Yes it does. We are based in Austria, and as such, have to charge tax for European countries. Therefore, depending on where you live in the world, some countries charge a extra tax on top of our fee. This will be determined once you check the item out.

Do I need to pay in order to create a profile?

How do I download a workshop?

Each lesson has a material list, and inside you can find: - The download link to download the video - Any extra downloads e.g. PDF's. The material list is accesable inside the workshop lesson, and above the video player - there is a "Materials" tab to click on. Simply click on that, and then click on the "Download Video" link. Depending on which browser/device you are using, you may have to right click on the link and choose "Save Video As..."

Do I need to be a professional potter to watch the workshops?

I do not own a wheel, does The Ceramic School offer handbuilding workshops?

Does The Ceramic School offer workshops for beginners?

Yes - The Ceramic School caters for people with all experience levels. If you would like to suggest a workshop that we do not currently have, then please send us a message here: https://support.ceramic.school/submit_ticket

I am a beginner, could I also become a member?

Where do I see the subtitles?

You can press the small cc button at the bottom right hand corner of the video player. If it still does not work, please contact us on: https://support.ceramic.school/submit_ticket

Does the workshops offer English subtitles?

Yes, we are busy adding subtitles to the workshop replays. The workshops have English subtitles and can be accessed by pressing the small cc button the bottom right corner of the workshop video.

Can I buy a gift card or gift voucher for someone?

Yes you can buy a Ceramic School gift card here: https://ceramic.school/shop/giftcards/giftcards/ Most workshops are $39, some are $49, and we offer a membership for either $29/month or $290/year. If you would like to gift someone an online workshop, then you should get the $40 or $50 giftcard. If you would like to gift someone a month membership, then you should get the $30 giftcard. If you would like to gift a yearly subscription, then you can gift the $300 gift card.

Where are you located? Is The Ceramic School a physical place?

The Ceramic School currently has no physical location - we are a virtual platform where you can learn ceramics or expand your existing knowledge from artists all over the world.

Do I need to pay extra for workshops if I am a member?

If you are a member, then No, you do not pay anything extra for watching the workshops that are included in the membership.

How do I access my workshops?

Once you purchase a workshop, you should be automatically logged into your account. If you are not yet logged in then you can login to your account here: https://ceramic.school/login/ And then you can find your workshops here: https://ceramic.school/members/me/courses/ When you have purchased a workshop then the workshop page will have a "Start the Workshop" button to access the lessons. Simply click on that button to start watching the lessons.
